2nd Annual Muslim Day at the Ohio State Capitol

Join CAIR-Ohio in Columbus for the 2nd Annual Muslim Day at the State Capitol on September 25, 2018!
Participants will receive training, education, and meet with their elected representatives to discuss issues affecting all Ohioans. Registration fee includes lunch, training, and materials.
REGISTRATION:
$20 Early Bird Ticket (If purchased by August 31, 2018)
$30 Early Bird Ticket with Statehouse Parking Garage Validation (If purchased by August 31, 2018)
$25 General Admission (If purchased after August 31, 2018)
$35 General Admission with Statehouse Parking Garage Validation (If purchased after August 31, 2018)
Deadline to register is September 14, 2018
We will be advocating for racial justice, economic justice, and gun safety reform.
Specifically, attendees will be advocating for the passage of:
Senate Bill 84 – “Preventing Biased Policing and Status Profiling”
House Bill 616 – “Prohibiting Arrest and Citation Quotas”
House Bill 576/SB 277 – “Increasing the State Minimum Wage To $15 By 2025”
House Bill 585/SB 288 – “Revising Firearms Control Laws”
In addition, we will be opposing House Bill 228/SB 180 – “Regarding Self-Defense and Handling Firearms,” a bill with a “Stand-Your-Ground” provision.
